I’m glad to know that you’re doing well at work and are planning to go for your first camping trip on the last weekend of June.

As you already know, I’m an eternal supporter of camping and it’s really exciting that you’re are taking it up. I believe this activity will be a good stress reliever, especially considering your high tension workplace. You’ll be in a calm and natural environment, away from the city hustle with nature all around you. There would also be an opportunity to make new friends with fellow campers.

As an experienced camper, I must also warn you of a few drawbacks of camping. The first one is the weather since you are going in summers, it can get extremely hot during the afternoons and that can become a sour spot in your trekking and camping experience. The other concern is the loneliness. A lot of first time campers feel the silence in the jungle to be a little disconcerting. I would, therefore, advise you to join a camping group for your first expedition.

Finally, if it’s alright with you, I would also like to join you on the trip. It has been way long since we went on a trip together and this can be a great bonding exercise. It’s just that I’m unavailable in June. Would you be willing to shift the trip into the first weekend of July?
