The information these days is widely and readily available. Some believe that valuable data should be selectively shared while others believe that any details related to academics, business or science should be openly available. I believe that the general details from any sector should be shared with everyone but only selected people should have access to specifics of the information.


It is essential to share information with a wider audience because it creates awareness amongst the public. This empowers a few of them to contribute to the findings or to improvise the details and put it to  meaningful use. For instance, we see a lot of scientists proposing different medicines to treat the same illness. All this is achievable because symptoms about illness were available openly. However, if this information was not shared with individuals, no breakthrough technology or solution would have emerged to date. People would have been clueless about anything else in this world.


Individuals who argue with sharing the information think that valuable details can be easily misused because the information might not be relevant to everyone. Excess of information can be used as a threat against mankind. On the contrary, I think that detailed information should be shared only with the people of interest. Thereby, allowing them to contribute and enhance the knowledge for the benefit of mankind.

In conclusion, some people think that it is good to share details with wider audience while others argue with this thought. I am of the opinion
that detailed information should be shared with intended audiences thereby they can contribute to it while general information can be shared to create awareness amongst individuals.
