I am writing to inquire about a postgraduate engineering course in Mechanical Engineering offered by your esteemed university for the fall semester of 2020. I am particularly interested in the Master of Sciences by Research in Mechanical Design. This course is relevant to my past education and includes the study areas that are relevant to my field of interest. I am particularly interested in joining King’s University because it has a global reputation for being one of the best ranked in the world. This is evident from the latest QS University rankings where it was ranked as one of the top 50 universities in the globe and its engineering school was ranked 8th in all the participating institutions. This speaks volumes of the quality of education imparted by the university.

 I also intend to apply for an available scholarship to support my education. I believe that I am a suitable candidate for scholarship because I was the topper of my undergraduate class and maintained a perfect 4-grade point average throughout my bachelor’s studies. In addition to this, I have also published two papers in the ‘Advanced Vibration Analysis’ journal and am attaching the same with this mail for your perusal.
