Engaging in something with a group of people can be a lot of fun. Whether it’s a project, a task, or an activity, working together can be a rewarding experience. It can also be an excellent way to build relationships, develop new skills, and positively impact the people around you.
What was it?
Recently, I was part of a group of friends who decided to take on a project together. We provided free meals to the poor people who lost their jobs due to the lockdown during the corona pandemic.
Who did you do it with?
We required a sizable crew to oversee the cooking and distribution because we had to prepare meals for around 5000 individuals.
I contacted a nearby volunteer organization in order to assemble a dynamic team made up of people who have the will, commitment, and discipline to work for a good cause.
I was shocked to receive plenty of requests for volunteers.
I finally settled for a team of 90 members.
How much time did you spend on this?
It takes a lot of labour to prepare meals for such a large number of people and our planning took two days.
On the next day, we had prepared meal service for all day long.
And explain why you did it together.
Because many jobs needed teamwork, we cooperated as a group.
We had a different group of team members who were responsible for buying the groceries and vegetables.
We chose to delegate the cooking duty to the volunteers who had the best culinary skills because we had a limited budget.
And we assigned those volunteers, who were teens, the distribution responsibility.
They delivered the food items with incredible ease because they still have a tonne of energy available to them at such an age.
Our campaign was effective, and we gave the less fortunate complimentary lunches, thanks to the team’s unwavering support.

5. Do parents think parents should teach children to cooperate with others? How?
Yes, parents play an important role in teaching their children how to cooperate with others. Cooperation is an important life skill required in many settings, including family, school, work and community. Children learn by example, and when parents show cooperation and cooperation in relationships and everyday activities, they learn to do the same. Parents can also provide opportunities for children to practice collaboration by setting up games and activities that require teamwork.
